Thanks for your thoughts Jim ! Delightful to read and I also began to feel hungry reading your description of the dream-pizza. Have you ever tried Peppe Pizzeria, 2 Pl. Saint-Blaise, 75020 Paris ? One of my favourites.

Your descriptions of meals are so suggestive. Reading about pizza, I started starving. At the end of the detailed description of your whole-life relationship with pizza, you embedded a photo of a deliciously looking mozzarella pizza, which completely destroyed me.

Thank you, Jim, for the guides through the European food places. It looks like there is never a dull moment, and you can always find something interesting, such as Maison Adam's Patisserie or Guggenheim Museum. :-)

All the best for you and Jairo!

Tapas?! My thought exactly! I did discover however that the main meal in Spain is at lunch time followed by a good siesta. Then in the evening after a nice walk at pleasant temperatures you go and have tapas with wine or beer and good conversation. Let's say, similar to the British experience of meeting friends in a pub and asking for two pints and a packet of crisp. Once I was looking for good food in Spain and found a nice restaurant with the owner setting at a table next to me. They brought me tapas whilst he had what looked like a nice beef casserole. You live you learn!

Glad you agree. I also know that tapas are different in different parts of Spain. Nico and Luza said the tapas in Barcelona when you all were there were wonderful. They sounded more like anitpasta to me, though.
